Has anyone ridden the atv trails in Park Rapids area?

 

vmaxer, we have ridden up there once . It was a very good time! We attended great minnesota atv campout up there in mid-August. It was held at the NJK Ranch in Akeley, about mid way between Park Rapids and Walker. Nels Kramer 218-652-2588 is a good point of contact.He is head of the Akeley Paul Bunyun Atv trailriders. They have organized rides every other weekend. There are 3 left the 16th & 30th of September and October 16th.Just give him a call he'll steer you in the right direction, he's always happy to help!

 

I have ridden in the Backus area and am planning on going back on Sept 22-24. Lots of different riding, hills, rocks, and floating bogs. Many places we rode a winch was a necessity. Good riding lots of trails and not much traffic and I am looking forward to going back.
