Atwater is opening a new track Dec 5

 

It's actually open right now, Dec. 5th is their Grand Opening. had friends ride there this past Sunday. Don't know how it was, haven't talked to them yet. (2) quad tracks, TT/oval track, 300' sand pit, (3) motocross tracks, (1) dirt go-cart track, (1) six jump freestyle pit. Here's a link for it. From what I heard, it's going to benefit Merced City/County PAL (Police Activity League)program. Atwater Cycle Park

 

Talked to friends who road there this past weekend. They said the site is 66 acres, has 2 tracks right now, with the others coming, along with the sand pit[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] The soil is like a loam, good and tacky. It's being run by 2 local firemen. Just might have to go to their Open House[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

ya I know the 2 firemen and a few other running it ,just did't really have details cause I'm not in that area anymore,we'll be there the 5th ..later.have you heard about quad racing in Newman?

 

No I haven't. I know they used to race go carts out there a few years ago. But, nothing since.
