From Huntsville I would say that LA dunes would be your closest sand. Then Kermit would be second. As far as trail riding, mudding & dirt drags I would say Shiloh Ridge in Alto, TX.

A new place in Huntville opened up in Dec 2004.

The name is called "General Sam's Off Road Wilderness Park"

Contact: Denny 713.817.6208

From what I understand it is 700 acres open to all off road vehicles

PM me to get directions. I will be following a group of people from Houston to there Feb 5th
