Missouri....Deepwater Riders....Meet Here
#11
Bout time someone started a new post on deepwater we had probably 1000 on the other post, All my buddies complain of the mud because trails are not kept up but I love it....Ive been in tank deep holes and maybe im just a city slug but i call that deepwater...
Havent been since the cold wheather but im going this weekend... Going north from parking is about some good trails and if you want to take it fast go south....I think its about the best within 50 min of Independence......But problems are there mainly in the people who think there the only riders alive......Keep our parks clean and open to ride...

Yeah lets change the name to mudholes, it sounds much better. When you are going riding you can say I am going to mudholes. Your friends will be like WTF. It's just a name it's not like they are riding in 600 feet deep water I think that would call for a boat.

Oh, you mean deep shallow water. The water in front of my house is over 300 feet deep and this is the shallow in, up north it's over 600 feet deep, we call that deep water. What you have we call mudholes.

Nope, the place is a total mess. People have torn down the fence and are riding on private property to the NE along the main trail to the lake side. I used to ride this park up to 2-3 times a month, I haven't been there since July-August I think. I've met up (from other boards) with some central Mo riders around Rolla and have been going down and riding with them. With all the recent bad weather I am thinking about heading down to Deepwater or also known as Coopers Creek OHV. This park is awesome for just flat out mudding, I used to have a Sp5004x4 Modified with 2" lift, 27" 589s and there wasn't a mud hole that I left untouched. I could not get that thing stuck, and I really, really really tried! I may have some pics around I'll try to find of it. I do not do that with my current Quad but still love a good hole. Maybe some of us can get together some weekend, I've got a big winch and lots of rope to pull the 2X4 with just email me or make a thread. I live in Independence close to Blue springs and I'm not to far from some of yall.

Deepwater is named as such because it is closest to the town of Deepwater Missouri. As to why the town is named this I have no idea. Either way it is usually muddy and there are no campground, no Rangers and one sh**house.

Oh There are rangers there. They pop in alot. Trust me,and there is a camp ground down the road by the boat ramps unless it has closed down but it was there not to long ago. Dont get caught riding on the roads $500 fine. Have fun..........and please pic up after yourself I know Deepwater aint the most beautiful place in the world to ride but it will only get worse if you cant clean up after yourself.
