I live in Walker County, Alabama. If you now were Pumpkin Center is you know where I live. I was looking for a good place to ride in about a 1hr. drive.

Try Bankhead Forest Trails on Danville Road (Hwy 157 - just west of West Point, Cullman County). Also 1st Morris exit on I-65 North - just South of the Hayden exit. Also try trails near Dodge City on Hwy 69 going towards Hanceville. Also, "The Ridge" as just opened up for weekends in Blount County, I think it's near Nectar.

Email me if you need more info.

It's just a small-time track, but there is LA Dragway a little north of Mobile. It is a TT and flat track red clay racetrack. It's usually open on saturdays. They run quads, dirt bikes, and racing lawn mowers.

I live in Corner, just down the street from you. We go riding out at Bayview- which has a nice waterfall, Morris- just off I-65, exit number 275, Sayre- which has strip pits, The Ridge- which has a little of trail riding, but an awesome track, Waxahachee- which also some tight trails and a ok track, Perry Mountain- which has a little of everthing, Virginia Mines- has alot of everything, from sleight hills, creeks, mud, and trail riding, Bankhead National Forrest- trail riding, but two way traffic, Kentuck National Forrest- nice trail riding but again two traffic, Mount Olive- has alot of mining roads, and some killer hills, Fultondale- tight trails. I hope this helps. I ride a 04 Raptor with some mods.
