If anyone's interested in a great poker run in central Pennsylvania, come out to the Madera Poker Run this weekend (sept 24). Besides Cochranton, there hasn't been one better that we've seen yet! Only ten bucks to ride, three checkpoints, and some great play areas.

altoona, lol you could walk there! We'll be arriving at the ball field Sat evening to camp over....be along the right hand tree line with a camper, dodge one ton flatbed\diamond plate. We're usually outta the gate early (first last year!)

 

I don't even know where that Poker Run is. I want to go to one really bad though. Could you give me an estimate on how long of a drive it would be from Philadelphia? Thanks

 

Steve it was a great ride wasn't it? How was the trail the second time around? I'm glad I left I was fighting to keep my eyes open the last few miles home. It was nice meeting you and everyone else. I think I can still hear JJ's snooring. :-)

blaster 13, sorry for not getting back to you but you were a little late on your request. Keep your eyes peeled...there's poker runs happening all the time here in pa and surrounding states. btw, its normally a fundraiser in which you pay an entrance fee and draw cards or poker chips at various checkpoints along the way to win cash or prizes.

wayne b, hope to see you again...maybe with a sport quad this time?...lol The second pass was a ball too but with riders everywhere and lotsa mud. The puddles were all gone but it was slicker than snot on a doorknob out there! We did the second pass in 2:20 including a few stops at the play areas. Next stop...Edinboro!
