We go there a lot. It is a great place. You should know that the "Dunes" may not be what you are thinking...it is not like along Lake Michigan. Much of the Badlands is an old excavation/quarry. There is a little bit of everything. There are sandy areas, gravel, hardpack, mud, great huge hills, woods riding. All around it is a great place. Family friendly. Very well run. They have a nice office/shop with gear and parts. There is also a quad dealer near the entrance.

Can't recommend it enough.

one of the thigns that sucks about riding on a weekend is.... it can get pretty conjested... i actualyl prefer little people.. so u can ride where ever, whenever and not worry about hitting people... that's why i'm thinknig we can go in march on a weekday ... ?

I'll talk to my dad to see if he can get time to off work in March. I know i can get out of school. It probably would be more fun if there arent a bunch of people there. If i dont find out for a week or two, is there a way to e-mail you, i don't know how to use the mail on this site yet.

Do you have to pay to get into this place? I am thinking of going in the summer time.

the badlands is a decent place to ride i am there about every weekend to every other weekend . the only thing is that yes on the weekends can get crowded but they have also gotten a lil stricter than in the past about riding in the parking lots fast. there is really not to many good jumps there but we can always find a few good lil cliffs to drop off , the badlands changes daily serously thou it used to be surounded wih huge crazy hills and most of them kinda fell out and washed away. but its 15 bucks to get in at the entrance and there is all types of riding there . this is the place were u will see lots of broken new quads this place will tear up ur bike so if ur a lil pansy and dont like to get a few scuffs here or ther than leave ur butt at home . make sure u have a good skid plate in the past 7yrs i have been riding there i have gone throu 7 skid plates on 3 quads. have a blast and be sure u are out of there by 5 indiana time they take that serious
