Wilburn Ruffcorn farm in Illinois?

Anyone ever ridden here and if so how was it? Looking for places to take my son this summer and this one sounds good. It is about 500 acres and it supposedly has all types of terrain? I have only ridden on the Cheese County Trail in Wisconsin and the side trails along it due to being new to ATVing. Just looking for a place with some tougher trails within 200 or so miles from the Dubuque Iowa area. Also has anyone heard the latest on the new park to open up in Fort Dodge, Iowa? I did a search on this and found nothing recent about it. Thanks in advance, Brian

Ruffcorns is a great place to ride, and one of our favorites in the hot summer months. This is mainly due to the large rock bottom creek that you can splash around in. They have just about every kind of terrain somewhere on the place. There is mud, hills, creeks, and even a little sand to play in. If you show up on a Sunday, he usually serves lunch for free. It's $10 to ride all day. Passengers are $5 more. Helmets are optional, but I highly recommend them. Check it out while you can. Once the old man is gone, I doubt that the trails will be open. His wife, and son don't seem to want to mess with it.
