I think there are some trails near Chesapeake VA, you might try a search.

Slades is not too far from Richmond in Surry, VA. I hear they are planning to reopen.

When I lived in Richmond I would drive out to South Pedlar near Lynchburg to ride.

Slades is a private-owned riding park in Surry. Itclosed due to legal problems, but i heard a rumor it was going to reopen.

Not sure though... someone else might know the scoop.
