Hello i live in IL i was wondering where soem dunes are to ride on near IL dotn want to drive to far. Also does not having sand tires make a big difference or will regular tires work good enough on the dunes?

 

your closest choice of dunes would probably be siver lake in michigan.the next closest would be little sahara in oklahoma.paddle tires do make a big difference in the enjoyment of dunes.

 

Badlands off road park its in---Indiana...to far for me to go..just for one day, I am 60miles west of St.charles And yes like minnrider said the paddle are better.... I am glad i dont have to drive far to ride,, I ride at home,,,,
