I've been to The Cliffs and Fox Valley off-road park so far. The Cliffs is pretty awesome, and the little track set up at Fox Valley is really fun. I'm planning on going down to Attica maybe next to check out the Badlands. Anyone else know of anywhere else to go? I'm from the Wilmington area; west of Kankakee.

 

I'm in the same boat as you. I've been to the cliffs. what a blast. was at foxvalley off road this past sunday. might go back this coming sunday. Going to my job site saterday after work. I may be thinking f taking the long drive to the bad lands soon not sure when but i want to check it out. I havnt a clue on where else to ride. Well the I&M trial. But i have not been on it as of yet.

 

I thought someone had told me that there were 2 spots in Ottawa to ride. Fox Valley being one of them, but it wasn't as big as I was expecting. The place in Ottawa I read on the internet said 10-12 miles of trails. Fox Valley didn't seem that big. I know The Cliffs is 300 acres, I think the fox valley guy said theres was 82 acres. I'm sure the Badlands will be real sweet, but even for me its kindaof a ride.
Still think the Cliffs is my favorite right now.

With over 400 members, these guys do everything from trail riding to MX and drag racing, Track and sand.
They have a group of people headed to Silver Lake June 23,24,25.

there will be a new atv terrain park opening up here in rockford off bypass 20, sometime la\te this summer, other than that... illinois istn that great.. good riding can be had in west central wisconsin though!!.. black river falls is the CHIT

how did you get the imformaton about the place in rockford?

 

The Rockford riding area may not be that great, providing they even manage to open. In '04 they got a grant from the IllinoisTrail Grant Fund, and applied for more this year. They were rejected this year because they haven't used any of the grant money from last year yet. Doesn't sound like it's being managed very well.

 

Any more information about the rockford place?
