how far do you guys ride in maybrook?- do you go up and down the RR bed, or ride the trails that go into the forbidden land? hahahaha just curious, i live 20 mins away. maybe you know some trails i dont-i dont go there a whole lot 450kodman

 

to go onto the buffer zone you must be registered and insured. otherwise its legit.

 

I don't know all the trails that well. Usually, I go riding with a group of guys that know the place like the back of their own hand. But we go in there pretty deep. I love the mud pit in there that's located right before the Posted area. There's one mud pit that I'm constantly getting stuck in.

 

yeah, theres one pit where my cousin SUNK his 800 polaris- his first stuck with the 800

nice footage, manny. was that the MFD "mud run" that was in early sept? or was that the one over the summer? didnt go to the one in sept. the one over the summer i remember was really dusty and our leader didnt think of the dust he was kickin up and was always "leaving us in the dust" literally. we also had a "casualty" in our group- a passenger on a rhino got stabbed in the leg with a stick as they were going down the trail-not good.
there were a few injuries on that poker run, that combined with the fact that we ride the same trails on every poker run, left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to poker runs-i think i'll pass on upcoming runs

The MFD Poker Run was 6/18/05. It was perfect weather and no dust. One of the best rides I've been on. I'll definately do it again.

 

I cant go through mud pits like that wth my 400ex!

Once my friend gets his Kodiak tuned correctly and insured then maybe ill take it to do some pit riding!

 

We went one day and there were 4 sport quads in the mud pits going nut one of the riders was a female and all she was wearing was boots jeans and a sports-bra, the guys went in with no shirts, none of them had helmets or goggles and they were covered head to toe in mud. They were taking mudbaths and it was pretty funny to see them jump inthe mud as if it were a swimming pool.
