Hey Macanic,I just got in the drag axle I bought. It's a jj&a(think that's the name).Axle, hubs, carrier, sprocket, brake mounting plate, and brake rotor all together weighs 20 lbs.Not real sure what stock weighs. That sound good to you?Bought them used.Should have K&T drag arms and wicked racing(the force)spindle mount wheels on the way soon from the same guy.Yes,the banshee is going on a diet.Tired of getting spanked by a certain honda.LOL!Then again a few DS's,YFZ's,banshees, the list goes on and on.

Thats sounds great.... get rid of anything you can to save weight...
Now that sounds heavy for a drag axle....mine weights around 7 lbs.
my factory axle weighted 24 lbs..

Hey Macanic, that 7 lbs. is that with just the bare axle. The 20 lbs. included axle,hubs,carrier,etc...Still sound too heavy?
Enforcer,I'm making the banshee lighter and more powerful.
In the words of Goldberg:YOU'RE NEXT.LOL!

Yes, my axle is 7.5 lbs total hubs and spocket hub.
20 lbs seems kinda heavy...
prob. a steel axle chrome coated....
alumn. would be a little lighter.

Your stock axle should weight around 20 to 25 lbs.
