My buddies and I are looking to make a trip from boring southwest Iowa to go dune riding. The only problem is we have no clue where to go. We were planning on somewhere in Oklahoma or Texas, if anyone knows of some nice places to ride please post and if there is a website please post that too.

little sahara state park in oklahoma is awsome we go up during sping break every year lots of dragracing and plenty of BIG dunes.

 

Yeah, definetely Little Sahara. It is right outside of Waynoka, OK. It would be worth your trip. We just went down there halloween weekend and I am already itching to go back. I get to make it down there on most of the big weekends. There are big dunes and some pretty good trails too. You can check it out at <www.waynoka.com>

 

That place looks AWESOME!!! I told my buddies about it and they love it too. Does anyone know what the average temp is around Christmas or the end of December? We were thinking about going during Christmas break.

 

You are right about it being awsome. It is one of my favorite places to ride. As for the weather, I would plan on it definetely being cold. The weather has been kinda crazy.
