#2
Sorry, haven't heard of those trails......please repost if you do hear where they might be.
A great FREE place to ride is at Perry Lake out near Lawrence and Topeka, KS.
You can ride at the ATV park from dawn till dusk and it has a little of everything......rock climbing, mud, jumps, woods and anything else you like to ride in/on!!!!!!

Tiffany Springs is a ride area by the airport. It has been closed to atvs and is for mountain bikes only. They are supposed to be working on a seperate ride area for atvs, but I wouldn't count on it any time soon.

I talked to the Parks and Recreation North Region Manager about the park and this was his response.
"We are still in the early stages of organizing a not-for-profit group with whom KCMO can partner with in planning, designing, constructing and operating a OHV facility in the Tiffany Springs area. We hope to be meeting this month with a small group of organizers to begin finalizing bylaws, articles of incorporation, etc. Afterwards, we hope to hold a general membership meeting to get the organization started, which we believe will be called the Tiffany Hills Trails Coalition. "
I got on there contact list so he'll update me whenever the next meeting is.

You again snickets! Quit with the dam ATV hate! If your not part of the solution you part of the problem, since you refered to it as, "your situation".
Again, ride the bicycle in the city, or has the city ran you off? Suks when idiots with pens, who know nothing about your sport, get you zoned out of a perfect spot to ride. You could try one of those exercise bikes, then you could STAY HOME.
COME ON, anyone who built some of the area should be close enough "inside" he/she should be able to get something going for fellow riders, be it on a bike, trik, quad, a frikkin horse. Its all about the ridin. HATER OF QUADS

see, the thing is it's actually legal for me to ride out there on my mountain bike... I'm not moving rocks that are meant to keep me out, I'm not removing signs that state it's illegal for me to be there..... if you would read the first post I made here, I'm interested in helping you guys out... mainly to save my area from your guys illegal riding.

Your previous post really has no value because if there wasn't people riding there illegally then the city/county wouldn't be doing anything about creating an ATV park. They wouldn't be seeing the NEED of a park if they didn't see anyone out riding, illegal or not. I am not FOR doing things that are illegal but, come on, it's America......we drive on parkways and park on driveways and sometimes things have to be done "illegally" to get attention to certain cituations or problems (like having no palce for ATV's to ride, LEGALLY!!) Look how long it took for city's to create skate parks for the kids and skaters of all ages. But FINALLY after illegal riding all over town and on sidewalks, etc.......the cities finally realized there was a NEED for these type facilities and have built skate parks for them to ride at. Hopefully these city's/county's realize the growing NEED for ATV parks or ATV riders are going to find places to ride, illegal or not. Get the BIG picture now or are you still looking through your own narrowed mindedness? I speed, it's illegal, you say you don't? Just another point to make on the matter. Come on.........?????
