Where are some good places around that are worth driving to? I've been to deepwater and chadwick. Let me know of some more including tracks and scramble tracks that are atv friendly.

There is Fingers lakes in Columbia it has a race track and a lot of trails but most are muddy rutted up trails as well. Other then that you have covered the closest spots to you. There are a few places in Kansas but I have never been to any of them. You can do a search for places to ride in Kansas. Might find something. I live in Grain Valley there is a sand drag track and a motorcross track that I have heard was letting ATVS race on the track. Usually race on Sundays dont know the schedule or times though

Hey fellas,

There is Two Potential parks opening up here KC.

1) Tiffiny Springs

2) Sugar Creek

Nothing is set in stone yet, I am Close to the Sugar Creek Plans and will be attending a work day in support of this park. I have a post on here about it. I will bump it up so you can read it.
The Tiffiny Springs was being worked on by someone on this board I can't remember his name.

There is a great track 1 1/2 hours south of Kansas city down 71 hwy. Its 6 miles east of Sheldon MO. which is south of Nevada Mo. The track is well cared for and is a great family atmosphere. The track is 1 1/2 miles long with lots of doubles and tabletops and open to bikes and quads. Its only open on certain dates so check the web site for their schedule.

The Kc side is really limited....DeepWater....Which really eats up the brakes on my grizzly for some reason, Chadwick....Merwin but im not sure if they allow atv's, then if you havent been to St Joe state park on the STl side i really reccomend it, but my friends from the fire house and I are always looking for people to ride so drop me a line at hydrent@aol.com

Hello- First time posting to the forum, looking forward to some good exchange of info. I used to ride a 250X about 16 years ago but gave it up. Now I have a 12 yr old stepson and I bought a 250EX for him and a 400EX for me. Figured it would bring us closer together and boy has it ever!

Trouble is that it is now too wet to go to Deepwater and I hear Finger Lakes is just as sloppy with all the rain we have had lately. I am planning on going to Chadwick over the Memorial weekend and have been asking some guys that have been about it. I sure would like to find some closer places to Warrensburg to ride on Sunday afternoons, it is tough to get away for more then one afternoon a weekend. I heard that now it is illegal to ride in a creek but it is legal to ride on the roads now? Things really change when you have been out of the loop for a while.

Thanks for any suggestions or ideas. I am thinking of checking out the MX park that is just south of Sedalia one of these days. Anyone that would like to get together and take off somewhere drop me a line and we'll see if we can make it work.

Kitley
