Default Newbie in San Diego

Hey guys, I just bought the suzuki LTR 450. I'm looking for a place to ride besides going out to the dessert. Can you give me ideas and directions? Tks

What do you mean besides the desert???Most places to ride are in the desert.

Pismo Beach and Big Bear are pretty much your only non desert options.If you want sand there is Glamis and Dumont. mapquest.com for your directions.

ever been to jacume? its the mexican side of jacumba, theres a yearly race there, the track is long, rough and good, the track is like the desert, not dunes, i mean whoops, rocks, etc. ive been there and its fun

Wezzy,
Check out Corral Canyon, Cleveland National Forest, off Hwy 8 about 35miles east of San Diego. Great trails, at the four corner peak. make sure you get a recreation pass, park rangers check regularly.
