I am planning a trip to the Hatfield McCoy trails the end of August. I live in South Carolina and would like some advice as to what size jet to purchase and install for the trip. I will be taking both my bikes the 2003 Prairie 360 and the 2002 Prairie 300. (Sorry to tell you I do not know what is currently installed.) I have had several friends make the trip and all of them came back and said there bikes ran like crap because they did not prior jet them for the altitude change.

I'm not sure what the elevation difference is between where you are and Charlotte NC, but mine has run fine at HMC and I don't change the jets when I go there (both when I was stock and since the stage I).

 

I'm from North Eastern Ohio and I have an '05 Vinson 500. The Vinson still has the stock jetting and exhaust. When our group went to Hatfield/McCoy I noticed NO difference in the way my quad ran. Just my 2 cents...

 

Intresting, Maybe I will re-address my friends and there problems.
