Pismo Beach Reservations?
#1
Just got a new toy, want to head out to Pismo Beach for the 4th of July. If anyone has or knows someone who has reservations for that weekend i'm willing to throw down $200 a night for the reservations.

If you're planning on staying on the beach you'll want to make reservations for Oceano Dunes SVRA. The other Oceano campground is not on the beach. It's an actuall RV campground off the beach and you can't ride your quad/bikes from there to the dunes (darn rules). You'll have to first set up an account with reserveamerica and link it to a credit card to but it's well worth it. They charge $7.50 to make the reservation and it's $10 per night to stay. But, I've heard of many people not making reservations prior to showing up for all over the place and being turned away because the Pismo Dunes do sell out all the time. So the $7.50 is a small amount to pay for peace of mind.
One more thing, the site does have a 3 day window limit so if you want make reservations for Friday night you'll have to make the reservations on Tuesday of the same week.
I was there this past weekend and it was sold out for non-reservation people at 4pm (I asked the person at the guard station)

Pismo sold out a couple months ago most likely. Try searching around. I'll let a group I know that someone is willing to pay through the nose for a reservation.

He's doing ok. The stitches came out Fri. He's gotta wear that back brace for another 3 weeks (4 total). Only 1 eye is black still. He was all bummed out though because summer football practice starts today and he can't play.... but he makes a hell of a water boy.....
Thanks for asking....
