Hi everyone! I just purchased an ATV. Very excited to go ride! I am looking for people to go riding with in the Boise ID area. I am very dependable. When I tell someone I will meet them somewhere I show up. I have a problem of making plans with my 1 friend here in Boise and he winds up canceling. Very disappointing when someone cancels at the last minute. I don’t mind riding alone…..but I sure like the safety of going out with someone else. God forbid anything to happen it’s sure nice to have someone there with you. So if anyone in the Boise area wants to hook up…..Let me know.

There is a group of us that planned a night ride next friday the 8th. Thre will be three to six of us going and the plan is to meet up at around 6:00pm and we will ride till about 12:00am. I run an 03 Polaris Predator and am the only sport quad in the bunch, the rest are utility machines. I'm not the best rider, but can hold my own. We are going to ride up around Silver City in the Owyhee Mountains. Headlights are a must and everybody usually brings snack dinner. We'll eat it in front of the hotel up in Silver City. Is the Bruneau dunes you talk about in your bio, the same as St. Anthony dune in Idaho. I have family in Burley. I get up there every few years to ride.

 

The Bruneau sand dunes are actually a different and smaller set of dunes closer to Boise. Unfortunately, the Bruneau sand dunes were closed to motorized vehicles (Dirtbikes and ATVs) a few years ago due to an endangered species. Something to do with a sand turtle. St. Anthony dunes are closer to the other side of the state, but are the ones everybody goes to. The URL below has good information and pics.
