Any nearby trails in Albrightsville or surrounding counties that don't require a two hour drive? I know about Paragon but I'm looking for others. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the Pike County website. There's a trail system of Route 402 in Lords Valley that I read about last December.

They improved the site since I was on it last. I only know of the Pike County trails which you can take Route 84 to Route 402 (South or West...can't remember).

you should have several options for riding basically in your backyard! Take the powerline down off the mtn and it drops into some wicked riding that ends up to the north Of Beltzville. One trail comes out by Hells' Hollow Rd....dirt road that runs for 3 miles......you can eventually ned up in Effort....if ya don't mind running roads for a bit. Plus you can run over by Pocono Raceway.

Are you talking about the powerline that runs over old stage rd.? I live in the Towamensing Trails Development and there is a powerline trail but I didn't think it went that far. Are you saying I can follow that all the way down the mtn.? Is it legal riding area? I'm all tagged and insured so there is no problem there. Are you nearby and if so would you like to meet up and ride that area? Lemme know.

I usually ride south of you. I've gone up over the mtn once this past spring and ended up at the gas station on the corner of 903 and 534. There's alot of hidden trails in the area. As for being legal, I can't comment on that!

Thanks parafrog. My brother in law who also lives in the same development pointed out a trailhead that takes you al the way down to the turnpike which subsequently is all the way down the mtn. Going back up next weekend to give it a whirl. Let ya know how I make out.

back 15 yrs ago. where ever we could ride we would go. what i've seen in here is legal places to ride. if u see sand or hills not surronded by houses its free will go and ride it. its only when u make alot of racket around houses or visable from a major highway that theres ever problems.
