first off this is first time on these forums

i just wanted to ask poeple on forums (older riders) if they heard of ebo?(this was the nickname my brother and his friends used to call it).

its NW of potosi, missouri like 8-10 miles on 185 or 10-15 miles SE of sullivan. it never had a accual name was a old quarry/dry lake bed with huge sand dunes.

95-97 my brother said they used to go and like 1000's of poeple would be there. ALmost same size as st. joe and if you got on the logging roads it was bigger.

But in like or around 2002, 2 friends of his went and said it was dead and said a few conservation agents tried to chase them down.

anybody know what im talking about? if you want to see it try googlemaps.com you can see a clearly visable white sand and a track in looks like brush

Yeah, I remember that place. My friends and I use to ride there back around 1996-2000. We called it ebow. Anyway some guys we knew told us people were being run off and then some people got their vehicles broken into as well.
I haven't been down there in about 6 years. But it was a great place to ride!

I know there is a riding place a bit south of Potosi but you are only supposed to ride on the marked forest rodes. Need a county permit etc...
