Denton, TX closed down
#1
There were people at the riding area in Denton on Saturday passing out flyers stating that the owner is shutting the place down. They were putting up fence posts to keep people out. The flyers state that Denton police will be patroling the area to keep people off. Bummer that we lost a great place to ride.

That make two this year, the first being the Flying P in Weatherford. Do you know why it is being shut down by the owner?
Has anyone been to the new place in Bridgeport TX lately? I think it is called twin pines. I was there early last summer but have not returned to see how it has progressed. I believe they are a new place this year.

My friends talked to a lady down the street who know the boy who died earlier this year. They said that there were 8 reported deaths at the place. I think that may have something to do with it. Besides, the teenagers (no offense to anyone) who party out there at night were tearing the place up. And there were people using the land as a dump.

Now it makes sense why they closed it down. It is too bad the landowner did not try to get some control of what was going on before just shutting it down, they could have made it a pay to ride place, I do not think most people who ride mind paying the $8 per day to ride.
