I'm tired of my friends punking out on me, and it sucks riding alone!

Anybody out there ride on the island? If so mybe we could hook up one night and do some riding.

PM me....

There are lots of trails out there to ride, it just depends on when to ride and how to get there!

I'm not up on the new laws, what are they?

Gentlemen, the new law went into effect on Jan 1st and affects all ATVs ,mopeds, and motoroized scooters. If your vehicle is not registered it will be confiscated. If registered an insured you will be issued a ticket and the fine will be heavy. Read it in Newsday. Don't recall if it was for L.I. or the entire state. You can only ride it on your own property. I would do a little research and check it out. Vince

That's not too bad. I'm registered and insured, at least it won't be taken away! The deal is, not to get bagged!!

Thanks Vince, I appreciate the info.

Happy riding!

OR you can have written permission from the land owner. I'm looking into asking some people who own unused property if they want a small fee and for me to sign a waiver. My friend knows the property owner of the undeveloped 3-5acres or so across from his house (where he rides illegally anyway)and we plan on approaching him about it.This way we can ride local and during the day without fear of police.

Side note... Why dont the police get a task force for rounding up these damn illegals and save money on busting OUR *****.They'll take out a f-ing helicopter and some dirt bikes and hunt us down, but pull over some mexican and let him go?!!!!(no offense to mexicans, just happens to be a million of em' here illegally!)
