I see that you ride a sport quad. Are there any good trails there to run a banshee on? Where I ride at now, I haven't even gotten it out of 4th gear. Wish I would have found out about this place last year before it closed. I hadn't looked on here in a long time and found out about it the last day it was open...haha

I see you live in Vinemont, So do my parents. I think me a couple of folks are planning on riding there the first weekend in march. Will that be a good time to check out the scenery? Maybe I will see you there. Thanks for allowing folks to ride, it is getting harder and harder to find a place to cruise around on. I guess I am lucky, my wife's family owns about 1000 acres I have access to as long as I don't ride near the family members hunting!

I picked up a flyer at Allsport in Decatur. He was dropping them off while I was in there looking for some gloves. I can't wait to get a chance to ride there. It just a little too cold for me right now I also need to get a trailer for the haul. Right now my truck has a tool box and I have to ride with the tailgate down. I just don't feel good about that, even though it is strapped down. Can't wait for spring!!!

Rode at Wilborn's today. Very friendly folks. A little cold but but we had a good ride anyway. They have all types of trails from wide dirt roads to extreme trails. They look to be making improvements and it will be a good place to ride.

Are the trails marked well? The map that they put on the back of the flyer really doesn't help at all in figuring out what trail is what and where they are going. I really only shows that there is a lot of trails and a lot of area to ride. I still think I am going to wait until it atleast gets in the 50s or 60s.

Yes the only complaint I would have is they need a better map, the one we got was almost useless. Some of the trails are marked, others we just tried to see what we could find. I think as you get more familiar with the place the better it will be. We came across some trails that where blocked by downed trees or were just dead ends. The place has been closed since mid October to atvs so as more people are on the trails I think they will improve. They said they were hosting a large group from the Shoals area (over a 100 atvs) in a few weeks. They also offered to send a guide with us to help us find some of the better areas to ride. We rode about 32 miles in 3.5 hours. We will be back again soon.
