Actually teamfasracing.com and atvhudsonvalley.com combined to make nyatvonline.com The scatvassn.com club is a ny based 501c club that does charity rides all year around. Very cool events. The event in jan brought 325 riders and raised 7500 for the children. Both clubs are awesome and ride weekly. If there isnt a work day for scatv then nyatvonline rides! They work together and have many members that belong to both. Very fun bunch of respectful riders! - JT

think about it. they tell you to ride what...a 90cc? until ur 16, but when you turn 16 you can go out and buy an 800.............
I hear ya, but laws are laws and the state has to cover their rear ends. There's a coupla 14 yo kids by me that ride 200 cc Blasters and they run circles around me!

That's a really good point.... Kids cannot get he proper experience as they grow along with their skills. What we need is another class for the 12-15 year old group.

The age limits need to be changed they are doing a disservice to the ATV world.

Something like this would work:

16 = 400cc and over

12-15 = 91cc to 399cc

under 11 = 50cc to 90cc

That is a great idea, but lets worry about getting some riding places to practice first, even if its a little 90!!!

I don't think you'tre going to see too many riding areas south of Albany. ATV's need a huge amount of space and there's just too many machines. I heard LI got or is getting a new indoor track. There's one in CT as well mototownusa.com It's mainly for db's but they have quads days once in a while. Maybe indoor tracks are the way of the future.

I hope indoor is the wave the future. What is the point of getting a quad if all your going to be able to do is ride inside. Getting out and seeing nature is my idea of a great ride.

I agree 100%, out doors is what it's all about!!!!!!! LI has NO clue what to do here. If they do build a place, in or out, it will be way to expensive, track like, and nothing for the normal trail riders here (reason for illegal riding in the first place).

And it would be GREAT is they just opened up some of the existing trails, maybe chrage to ride for the day. No place big, just some normal trails would be good for me!!!!!!!! But, NY is gonna be g@y and not do sh*t with the $millions they collect in registration. What ever, we can go on for years, and nothing will ever get done.
