Default Dumont Dunes

I want to take my boys to Dumont , I ve only got 2wd on my pick-up w/ a 6k pull trailer can I get away w/ that or do I need 4wd to go there I've heard horror stories of guys gettin stuck even w/ 4wd there.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Default Dumont Dunes

Camp at the "little dunes". They are right next to the highway, and the surface where you camp is pretty firm. You can't miss it, there is a bathroom building and signs. (The entrance to the regular dunes is a very long dirt road that is a ways down the highway.)

Better quality camping there (especially if you have kids), and you can just ride around the hill over to the big dunes when you want to ride the big stuff.
