NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Wow thanks for looking into that. I also did some part searching and I am thinking about what you said about getting a longer stem. I just wish I could try a raptor with the higher bars and see If I like a 1" or 2" longer stem. Anyways sorry I did not get to a computer till now to reply.
Oh ya pics are great, unfortunately I showed my wife and she is not impressed
. Hehe...Oh well.. It really was great riding with you all though and cant wait to meet up again, after I can steer straight again

Everytime I show Val (my wifey) pics from riding, she just says, yeah, that's nice, ummm hummm, after the first pic they all look the same to her

Good Luck with your stem, which ever route you go
I promise you, the longer stem is the bomb, you would love it, it's just natural for your hands to be in a higher position.

Wow, I havent been on here in a while. Workin way too much due too being about 30% understaffed. They didn't cancel my vacation though so we spent 2 weeks in the Phillipines. Just got back last week and ive worked every day since. Payback i guess. Been checking out all the vids Haps been posting, cool stuff. Oh yeah bought a new Buell 1125CR so the Kaw has been getting neglected. I guess its time to thaw the quads and head to Tahuya some time soon.
longer stem is great if you get an anti vibe stem...plus they are less prone to bend and twist than the stock mild steel stems...you can put your hand level pretty much where you want with the handle bar bend...for instance I have a plus one stem on one of my 450r's and CR high bend bars putting my hand height just about stock...On my other 450r I have a stock stem with the trail tech big bar adapter and ATV high bend bars and My hand height is about 1.5 inches higher than stock...its all about what you wast to do with it...I would strongly recomend a anti-vibe stem made out of chomoly ...I have wrecked hard enough to break the frame in several places and bend all four a-arms and my stem is still straight as an arrow...JMHO
