Good Morning PSAR!

DM that garden, like most things, is smaller than some but bigger than others. It measures about 80' by 170' now and keeps getting longer. They have a fenced area 240' long they can fill up before I have to plow up any grass. I understand they are about done planting after they get in a few more beds this friday. Good thing as the tiller broke a pulley just as the son was finishing up fluffing up the new area yesterday. The garden tractor is , IIRC, 38 years old and the parts are impossible to come by. He's been wanting to convert the tiller and mower deck to hydraulic drive so this is his chance. Pump on the motor and then he'll be able to have hydraulics to lift the implements as well as drive the tiller and such.

As to posting pictures, I'll take some and give it a try again. Every time I've made the attempt something has gone wrong. Me and these computers don't get along very well, guess I belong in the horse and buggy age.

Glad to hear you are able to get back to work Rod, it'll be awhile before you're up to speed but just getting out of the chair and doing something must be great.

You all have a super day, it may be your last chance.

Mike

I think you nailed that one on the head! A few jerks once again ruining the fun for the rest of the ORV people. We have all seen it happen time and again. The greenies won't have to lift a finger, we're going to run ourselves out of the woods. Most of it, I suspect, is ignorance. Just like the kid from the city that is living with my youngest son and his family. Kid got on a quad and went riding around in a field of standing wheat. Dumb, but he knew no better. Trouble is when you stop the kind of people that are riding irresponsibly and try to talk with them they always cop an attitude. Since I suffer fools badly I tend to respond in kind and then you got two jerks yelling at each other. No winners.

Oh, by the way, when you get that big truck I got some dirt I'd like to have you "move" as well. (read your original post, your getting poked with a pointy stick) {insert smile face her if I knew how}

Made a run to the dump, the five yard trailer was overfull but the guy just charged me the usual $20.72. May have to heap it up from now on. Big thing is to have it well tarped and tied down, if a deputy sees an uncovered load it's a big fine and they enforce this one like the no burning material from a vehicle law.

Getting warm out, up to 85 already and climbing fast.

Took it measy today. I was able to stock the house with doors. It was actually easier to walk up the stairs carrying the doors than it was to walk down empty handed.
I guess the ankle doesn't have to flex as far forward going up as it does down.
Now time to let the leg (foot, ankle and knee) rest.
Start hanging the doors tomorrow.

Well, that's it for me and the work today. It's 99 on the shady side of the house where the grass was watered this morning. Cheepo dial thermometer by the front door, also shaded now, says it's 105 but I think it's wrong. Out in the sun it's plumb to dang hot for this old man. I'll have to venture out a couple more times to change the water on the windbreak bushes and garden but that's going to be it.

Glad you made it thru the day Rod, kind of concerned that injury might flair up and give you more problems. Wise man to limit the activity.

Cold drink and easy chair for me.

Mike
