NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread

For you northenders that own Diesels might want to check out the Shell station across the trestle in Everett, across the street from Les Schwab. My brother went there yesterday and the big sign said $4.35 but on the pump it was $3.35. Somebody messed up and I don't know how long it will be before they notice. My brother stopped it at 10 gallons, not sure why he just didn't fill up. But anyways, he noticed that the pump only said $33 dollars and something cents. He looked at the big sign then checked the pump and somebody messed up. Justin drove over there and filled up his log truck. I'm not sure if it was all diesel pumps or what. My brother told me the far left pump.

Pay in cash or they will just charge you the difference when they figure it out....Just saw a news story about one that messed up and put the price in at $00.3359. They said they lost about $1500 in the difference before they caught it and shut the pumps down. Couldn't you just cry for them?
Anyway, they said they might be able to go back and charge the right amount to those that paid with credit cards, but the ones that paid with cash got a break.

Does the camp area where we're staying at in Winchester Bay have a shower?</end quote></div>
No, currently just pit toilets, but we can drive(or ride) down to the Windy Cove(I think) campground and use the facilities there for $2 since it's affiliated with the one we are in. It's the campground across from the marina on the way out past the lighthouse.</end quote></div>
Cool, thanks!

If everyone would bring enough firewood for one days fire (morning and evening) we should have enough. (Sorry Karl, I don't have a specific amount)

Today I had the misfortune of seeing what could happen to a dog that's not teathered down in the back of a pickup, especially when the tailgate pops open at 60mph. I felt very sorry for the vehicle that hit the dog and it caused quite a mess on the freeway. I always worry when I see dogs in the back of pickups, worrying that they'll try in jump out.
