Here's my unsolicited opinion, wanted or not. Go with front loader washer and triple door fridge with the freeze on the bottom. (and big freeze box on the back porch for fish and meat.)</end quote></div>

We're leaning that way with the washer, dryer and refrigerator, but I'm not sure the big freeze box would go with the couch on the back porch...</end quote></div>

just throw a table cloth over it and call it an end table[img][/img]</end quote></div>

I suppose the bug zapper could go on top of it... next to the ritz crackers and old tenis shoes.

Karl

One other thing I should mention about the pull behind mower, assuming your planning on using your quad, the traction type tires on most quads will tear up the turf. Even my Kawi with the stock tires tears up lawn areas when turning. We have a little Bayou 250 2WD that I put turf tires on and it is OK but the best is to use the big lawn mower and pull the pull behind offset to take a wider swath.

That is true, the ATV tires will tear up the lawn, paddle tires are worse, especially if you blip the throttle or test out your wheelie bar... I only plan on mowing the 2+ acre field with the pull behind and use the normal walk behind lawn mower for the lawn around the house. I do have to go out in the field and look for rocks, I found a few large ones the last time I was there.

I will have to have someone come out and smooth out some of the bumps as well. Looking at the satellite photos prior to construction, it looks like they cleared the land of alder trees where the field is, but they left a few ruts and bumps that could be smoothed over.

We'll have to wait 'till it dries out a little before then. the dirt that was moved around recently hasn't packed down yet and is pretty saturated. It'd be a real mess if they came out anytime soon.

I'll have them level out a spot for the motorhome and trailer as well when I have someone come out.

Thanks for the input.

If your going to be mowing stuff that has rocks and other debris you may want to consider the Rough Cut mower. Works better on taller and denser grass, brush, small trees, sagebrush and that sort of thing. I've hit all kinds of rocks, pipe and assorted junk with ours. Dulls the blades but no damage to the machine. One tough piece of equipment.

I don't know how tight I'm going to mow the field, but I'm going to make it as nice as possible. It will be cleared of rocks and such, I'll probably just throw weed-n-feed out there to keep the weeds down and eventually have a rough lawn.

I've posted some satellite photos, before and after shots...

Before and After Satellite Photos
