Dang, there are way too many stories of wheels falling off or not tightened down, should be checking them everytime before taking off

We don't watch commercial television - haven't had it since dec 2001. No cable and the antenna is not hooked up. Most of the shows and almost all of the commercials promote behavior and values in children (and adults too) that I totally do NOT subscribe to. My kids have enough outside influences and don't need that chit.
I do miss pbs and NOVA and some of the better nature shows.

We do watch movies and play video games, but I get to screen/approve them first.
Don't mean to sound preachy, everyone has their own things and that is one of mine,

If we did any damage to property putting in contract work we had to pay to fix it. It's part of the contracting game, kind of like First Aid, first do no harm. You might check your homeowners insurance as well.
Please! Don't quote this, I forgot to unsubscribe it and the edit won't let me.</end quote></div>
Well i was looking at our contract & it says owner is responsible for driveway but not sure as to what extent that is, we knew there would be SOME damage but I guess what irritates me is the guys this morning, I went out there & told one of them he needed to move his truck off my drainfield cuz it's muddy where he was parked & he'd get stuck, then when I drove by on my way to work there was ANOTHER truck there also so now there are deep ruts of mudd!! So I am waiting for a call from the contractor to tell him to tell all his guys DON'T PARK THERE!! We have plenty of dirt to fix it but it's the point
But if this is the worse that happens thoroughout the whole process we probably aren't that bad off

Doesn't sound preachy to me. Our grandkids don't have commercial TV to babysit them either. CD and Video programs that pass muster are what they watch. We record quite a bit of stuff on our TV and send it over for them. I think their parents are doing a good job with the boys, they get enough trash thrown at them just going shopping and to school.
I say good on you for watching what they watch.

so does anyone have any suggestions on a asphalt paving company to get a bid from for our driveway?
