Look in the caulk secton. Fire-ex is one brand, others have a rating of 1000-1200 degrees. I just used Rutland 500 degree RTV high heat silicone sealant on the fire chamber inspection cover on my furnace. I know they make a higher heat one too.
I have also seen the red liquid teflon used on the gas pipes.

I just used the teflon tape for gas piping, yellow plastic container, pipe diameter not to exceed 1 1/2", two full wrap arounds, haven't had any problems [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
