Default NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread

Got in an accident on the way to work this morning. I am fine. Airbags deployed, had a good 125' skid mark so I wasn't going 55 when I actually hit the dumbass and rolled him over completely. Saturn is even worse for wear now. Have to do some fixing now and figure out how to replace the airbags.
Hwy 9 and Lundeen Pkwy. I was heading south had the green light, so was going 55mph. Doorknob was in the LEFT TURN lane to turn towards Lake Stevens and as I got to where the lane splits to head up to Frontier Village, he decides to pull out into the left lane. I thought he was just pulling out to go straight up the hill instead of taking the left. NOOOOO, as I moved right to go around him, he keeps pulling right and I locked up everything, but couldn't get back left enough to miss him. Hit his hitch at a right angle and sent him around and completely over and back onto his passenger side. My airbags deployed so I was sucking that nasty smoke and trying to figure out what I needed to grab if the car was on fire. It wasn't, but those airbags smoke ALOT!
Anyway, I am fine. Not at fault either. Fast Eddie was actually first on the scene helping the guy that rolled. Good to see him. Small world. Thanks Eddie!

Morning PSAR
Anyone know a place to buy LED tail lights for trailers at less than ridiculous prices? Need some, some jerk stole mine. [img][/img] The round kind that mount with the rubber ring like you see in trucks all the time.</end quote></div>

Try a truckstop

Jayna, glad to hear your ok. Accidents are never fun, that's for sure! I thought after the airbag deploys on a car, it is automatically totalled, because you can't "reuse" them?

I agree, I don't think it will upset anyone, and it will stop any confusion on posting, but be accessible for reference

Jayna, Glad you escaped with just a lung full of smoke. Scary stuff. Where the H was Mr DA Doorknob headed? Sounds like he decided to turn right. Way too many nutcases like him out there.

Too bad about your car, last I heard you were really enjoying that ride.

Truckstops have those lights, just way overpriced. Even NAPA is cheaper.

I'm in the same situation as you but my LED light is for my Chevrolet Tahoe, for the third brake light. I haven't called or looked around but I heard they were expensive.
