Good Morning PSAR

 

Good morning PSAR. After all the crazy work hours (60+ hour weeks), the bf and I headed to Winchester for 4 days. Stayed at Half Moon Bay in lucky 13 - the cg was empty. Thursday was awesome, we had the dunes to ourselves and although it wasn't sunny, it was quite warm. Friday, a monsoon rolled in, big winds, pouring rain........it was a good day to play tourist in Florence (I do like shopping in old town) have chowder at the firehouse, and spend a fun evening with my auntie, cousins, and kids. Saturday was good riding again, beautiful! Only bummer was I hit a small razorback and had a hard landing. I rode it out, nothing broken on the quad or me, but I have some knarly bruises - not sure how I stayed on, but it was all good. Kept riding. Time to get new goggle lenses though - mine are in bad shape and that is part of the reason I didn't see the drop in front of me.

We are heading to Capitol Forest on the 18th, but only to ride the logging roads. The bf's son has never been on a quad so we are going to take him out and let him try.

Will be heading over to visit Bill in rehab tomorrow and will post an update then.
