Good evening PSAR. Since there will be so many of us down south for sandy turkey, how bout pizza night at the old Pizza Rays (now another Bedrocks) in Winchester Bay??

Friday or Saturday night??????????????????</end quote></div>

Good pizza!

Or maybe another buffet at the casino in Coos Bay?</end quote></div>

Sat. is the parents 50th anniversery, we will be at the buffet either in Florence or Coos Bay.</end quote></div>

I know the Coos Bay casino has a great buffet but I've never been to the Florence casino. Does it have a good seafood buffet like the one at Coos Bay?</end quote></div>

never been to the one in Florence...we might have to check it out.

Sean, Where were U today we needed U!
Had a 450 dirtbike rider case a double and get knocked out all the while still holding throttle wide open. Hit the infield berm and flew into and through the gate at the staging area.
Ended up having 4 people injured, 2 kids and 2 adults. Most serious kid had a broken femur and tib. The rider that I helped with had a dislocated hip and wrist fracture and possible concussion. Then another kid with possible broken ankle and and adult with possible broken foot.
Carol had an EMT from Castle Rock there and then a parent was an ER Nurse. Then I think it was Shelman and I and 2 other parents until the medics arrived. They came in force 3 ambulance and 3 engines.
And this was just the 2nd race of the day!
Thankfully the rest of the races went injury free. And even had such a large turnout that they ran 32 races. It seemed like we had wall to wall minis at one point.

I do need to just take one moment to brag about how much Jake is stepping up his racing. I am one proud father.
With his new Cobra he has moved up to 70 expert and today he constantly was making a double jump that I would struggle with. Did I say I was proud of him

Bing: Glad you found the gaskets for the old fruit jars. Mother Earth news used to be a good source for those, had a couple of companies selling them.</end quote></div>

turns out they are called 'jar rubbers'
where is Mother Earth News?</end quote></div>

It's a monthly or bi-monthly magazine full of all kinds of "how to live off the land and get back to nature" stuff. Most of it is marginal at best but they do have some good sources for old time stuff and cutting edge energy technology. Believe they have a web site as well. Bought a deep well windmill pump from an outfit in Canada I found thru them a few years ago.

"Jar Rubbers" eh! My Grandmother always called them "Jar Rings" and would use new ones each time she canned. Loved the new system that had the little tin lid with the seal already in place. The old ones didn't always seal well. I remember when we hauled cases of those old jars to the dump.
