We have always worried about them bringing the next race to the start line while a race was going on. If that is what happen, it was bound to happen at some point. It is pretty scary sitting at the start line while there are bikes/quads on the track........Hopefully some good changes will come from this very unfortunate accident........</end quote></div>


Carol did have an EMT that day just not the normal two and rig at the end of the building like in the past.
The kids had just pulled into the building still behind the closed fence. When the rider got knocked out and then hit the inside berm he flew into the post that the gate was attached to and broke that. The gate and his bike then landed on the two of the kids and one dad that where closest to the fence.
There where some new people there lining up the kids but they did wait till the race was over until letting them go to the start line.
