Do believe your right Hap. Bout 27 here right now and the predictors are saying it's going to be into the low teens by wednesday or thursday. That's for the Portland area so should get into the single numbers up this way.

Apparently I have grossly under estimated the amount of pine boughs required to decorate the front of a small house. Trip to the mountains is scheduled for today with no possible reprieve in sight. Anything more fun than hacking green limbs off pitch covered green pines? Ah well, this too shall pass.

Have a great day everyone, you too One Fly!

Mike

Chris,
The Honda may be different but on the 400EX and the 450R you have to turn the outside axle nut towards the inside nut to expose a ring clip on the axle. Once you expose this clip and remove it you can then unscrew both axle nuts off the axle.
When I did the bearings on my 400 the first time Joel came over and neither of us could break it loose. I ended up cutting the outer axle nut of fwith a cold chisel.

Jayna sent me a pdf of the service manual and I didn't see and mention of a clip. It also doesn't really say how the axle is threaded. I may have to use the chisel method! I'll figure it out tomorrow hopefully.

The pdf also shows a pic of the two nuts and has arrows indicating they turn opposite to each other.

hello PSAR

Bad day for the Pellham Family yesterday. My Grandpa Azel passed in his driveway in Moses Lake. He was helping Grandma pack in groceries from the car when he collapsed. EMS could not revive him.
