Good Freezing Rain Morning PSAR

Wow the temp has been at 33 since yesterday afternoon and now we're getting a slow rain that is freezing as it hits. Going to be an interesting day for our son that is driving truck in this.

LJ glad the horses were not in the way of that roof when it caved in. I see on the news where a lot of carports and marinas in the Portland area are smashing down when people don't clean them off. Just not made to hold this much weight. Now that the rain has started it's going to get a lot worse before it melts off. Snow started sliding off the roof of this house about two hours ago, dogs all thought someone was trying to break in and reacted accordingly. Woke the whole house up.

Still waiting for the new winch for my quad, snow is going to be a bugger to plow with this rain and ice buildup. Hope the winch shows up today, they said five to seven days, be eight days today.

Think maybe we'll put off going to town today, roads are going to be wicked at best. Feel sorry for my son having to go to work in this.

I like the way they plowed our main street, pushed all the snow to the side so the driveways and cul de sacs are blocked </end quote></div>

Sounds like the perfect excuse for you to get a plow for your ute! Might as well be like the rest of us old faxts and put some boxes on it at the same time. Chains help a lot in slick mud so you better get some of them as well.

Bear 45-70 has been hauling the EMTs up the hills the ambulance won't handle where he lives, maybe you could get into that as well. He was even delivering packages for UPS the other day.

Karl's the tractor man [img][/img]</end quote></div>

I'd offer, but I can't get my trailer down my driveway, too narrow with the snow piled up on both sides.
