Hey tapper, that machine is messed up. I saw the 400ex, they said it was in a head on colision. It's a good way to get a cheap machine, if you don't mind doing alot of work..LOL

Is Jerry racing his YFZ or did he get his KFX fixed?
I've still got a few of his small misc items yet that he needs to pick up.

Anyone that is interested in checking out other ride areas should look into riding in the Black Hills of South Dakaota.
"Stories of prime trails in the 1.2 million acre Black Hills Nat. Forest are what got our interest up, along with the fact there is 5000 miles of primitive roads that criss cross the forest and they are considered "open unless closed". What that means is that everything is open, unless its specificly gated or posted."
Here is a photo thread from another forum to provide an indication of what you might encounter...everything from forest road to tough single track.

Great idea, in fact we are in the process of fact finding, and planing now. We're taking dual sport motorcycles, mainly because itll be more convienient going from trail to trail, and exploring. Not to mention, we gotta stay in Deadwood for poker, and would like to just ride from there.
Have you found any good maps, or websites, with information, other than that one you posted. Ive been watching that forum for awhile, and looking for information, but its scarce.

Here are a few great resources for specific ATV riding in the Black Hills.
It is my understanding that ATV's can travel on all fire roads unless gated and blocked to motorized traffic.
Imagine 5000 miles of trails and fire roads to ride in some new area with plenty of interesting scenery.
