Down here in LA (Lower Alabama) there are two really great tracks. Roaring Hills and Riverside.

www.roaringhillsatvpark.com

www.riversidemotocross.net

Pictures don't do them justice. Send me a message if you are interested in knowing what they are like.

If you ride Riverside and County Line then Roaring Hills doesn't offer much. It's a 1.75 mile long MX track but it's really for beginners and intermediate.

Man! That sucks something bad! I'm in the military and we have drill this weekend! I've never been to County Line. I heard that it was pretty big. Meant to be run by people that know what they are doing and have been doing it for a long time. Is that true in your opinion?

I really appreciate the offer but I can't make it. I wouldn't do so hot in a race anyway. I run a Rappy 250.

What do you ride?

First...about the military, I just got done putting ten years in the 82nd Airborne Infantry. so I feel you with the crazyness and bad timing but no prob man another time. As for the skill level needed for county line, I think it is a all around good track. Just remember to never ride over your own skills. The way the track is set up you can hit most of the jumps in 2nd gear half throtle or 5th flat out haulin ***** and you will still land on a down lip. It is a really nice track. I think it is easier track to learn than Riverside. The longest jump at C.L. is a 115' trip that you can clear on a quad....you BETTER be ready to hit the breaks HARD when you land tho. they put a turn in RIGHT after the jump. I won't triple it anymore I REALLY hate the turn being so close. Now with that being said....What length is the table top at riverside....125' or so right....the start finish one....I would NOT try to clear that one on a quad.....I have seen 2 guys end up in the fence down by the 20' tower after trying to clear it on a quad!!! My piont is that I tried the one at C.L. and won't at Riverside...just a better track for quads "I THINK" and again that is MY opinion. You need to come out and try it....even on a 250 you will have a blast. and its only about 45 mins from the circle. down 231.

I ride a TRX 450r with a few mods. Nothing to big...I am on a "Just got out the army" budjet and i am married so.......kinda slow getting all the stuff i want for it. but i have a TON of fun with it as it is so thats all that matters!

Yeah, I might be down there this week. Maybe Wednesday or so. Blue skies! It's the only time that I have off work and after 13 straight days of working, I am going to reward myself. Haha.

I haven't ridden at Riverside in forever. Me and some other guys own the track at Roaring Hills. It's mostly a kids track for dirt bikes. I want to try my luck at a bigger place and see how I do.

I am planning a trip to Durhamtown Plantation (www.durhamtown.com) this fall. It's an adult Disneyworld for ATVs and Dirt bikes. Hunting, fishing, lodging, and restaurant. It's all there. I'm going for a week. If you want, you can come. I am inviting everyone that I can. I want film of as much of it as I can. The more people that come, the better. I aiming for one of the best vacations. Ever.

If you aren't working on Wednesday or Thursday let me know and maybe I can go down to County Line and meet up with you. I prefer to ride with others. It pushes me harder, ya know. Haha.

Well, I am up at drill right now. Let me know if you want to meet up and ride.
