I am thinking of moving back to NC to the Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle area. My first priority is surfing, second is living somewhere somewhat close to some good ATV trails. Does anyone know of any good state parks or trails near that area? I guess the closest mainland city would be Morehead City. Thanks.

 

There's a spot on Catfish Rd near Catfish Lake and Great Lake north of Jacksonville I hear ppl talk about called Black Swamp but I've never been. Everything else is at least an hour drive for you from EI.
