So found a new place to ride around here. It's about an hours drive from me (still a good distance, but not as far as a lot of the other places in state). It's called Royal ATV trails and it's located around Clarkson and it was a pretty fun place to ride. My riding buddy (who is, it turns out, NOT moving to Louisiana) found out about it from someone else he knows and so we loaded his trailer up (my rubicon and 2 sportsmans) and left out around 7 or so. We reached the trails around 8 30 (because of some delays) and rode until around 2 30. It costs $15 to ride all day. That isn't CHEAP I know, but it's not exactly expensive either. I think I'd call it a mid-sized place at 500 acres. Not huge, so you might meet some other riders there. But, at the same time it's not so small that you're running into people every few seconds. There were some pretty deep mud pits there for those who like that (me) and there were a few spots where rock junkies could get their fixes in as well. There was also an MX course and 2 drag strips. The web site can be found at http://www.royalfarmsandatv.com/index.html (also includes driving directions) for those interested.

Morgan, did you end up going?? I ended up going out there, but it was just to look the place over, didn't even have the quad with me.. Me and the ole lady went to the elk and bison prarie, and I wanted to see where it was at.. I thought matt and some others were going to go, but... That didn't work out......
I'd like to check it out sometime soon.. I think we are going to the Beach Tree tomorrow.... It's pretty good riding, though nothing like TB is or anything like that.. Some hills and some trails, and also some mud for the mudders(lol).
I love trail riding, and creek riding, and yes mud riding.. I am not bias towards any of them, though really big tall steep hills is NOT my thing. Atleast not on this big utility I got!!! Maybe one of these days I'll get another SPORT quad to do all the crazy stuff on.. Though I get crazy on this thing..... lol

Well, I finally got a trailer. Still working on the hitch installation, plus the trailer needs some electrical work done for the tails. Maybe we could get a group together to go riding somewhere sometime.</end quote></div>
Yep, definantly could... I THINK I am going back to work next week sometime... That is a GOOD thing! Been off since december third..... Work on the boat, company had about 4-5 boats tied up..
But we should get a ride going....
I've been wanting to check out this royal atv park, that was mentioned above... Google maps puts it 2 and a half hours from me, though I have been told it takes more like 3 and a half from here around paducah ky....

Yeah, that was me who mentioned that, lol. It was a really cool place to ride, even if it was only a round a mid size park. I got stuck a lot because though ...it was my first time on any real trails though, so I kinda had an excuse...still sucks though! Plus it had been raining that week, so there was quite a bit of mud and water...

Had a great time, we plan on buying the yearly pass for $60. We live in Jackson,Tn about 2Hrs away. We also do Loretta Lynn's in the spring and fall. I think were done riding until it gets warmer, besides I've got a little work to do on the YFZ.
