Can anyone tell me when Silver Lakes MI. opens?

 

The riding area at Silver Lake is open from April 1st to October 31st. Hours from April 1 to May 15 are from 8 am to 8 pm. After May 15 until Labor Day there are open until 10 pm.

 

Is Silver lake the dunes? If so can anyone give directions coming from Cleveland Ohio? Thanks in advance. Scott

 

The official name is "Silver Lake State Park." However, everybody refers to it as "The Dunes." To get there take US 31 north out of Muskegon about 35 minutes and get off at the Mears exit. Turn left and follow the signs.

 

I'm planning on heading up there at least twice this summer. Looks to be some good riding just no tall dunes but lots of sand!
