Great idea Jeff. I think I also got a message from you but I'm the coordinator for my group and it's hard to get all of us together to do the trips planned. If you don't mind, I'd like to try and make some of your trips as well. The Mounds is a given. But as Bill Ciliberti says, it's not the best time of the year to go there. Gladwin, would be a much better trip if you want to spend the day and it's only 2.5 hours from Detroit or Grandrapids. Just a suggestion. There are other places to ride in our State.

Do you think the trails in Gladwin will be packed down enough to ride on?

Well, Twinshot, you make a very good point. Or was that a question?
If someone calls the area Commerce, in Gladwin before we go, they will tell you how much snow is there. Then we can make a decision based on good information. How's that?

Chuck,
dont worry at all about the Mounds, the snow has really gone down alot and the 2wd quads will do just fine.My wife Nancy and I went there and rode just last Monday,I only had to help her out[Honda Recon] of the snow a few times. And with the 4x4 quads that will be there,[you and I]these guys have NOTHING to worry about, unless we get nailed with another severe snow storm.Besides, the Mounds will be down to only 10 acres of riding on March 15th and I want these guys to be able to ride most all of it before that happens, otherwise, they wont be able to until May 15th of this yr.Gladwin is a great idea to,but lets take them there after they do the Mounds?

I road the Mounds again this afternoon, there were around 30 ATVs out there today.Nobody was having any real difficult times getting around, now you COULD get into trouble IF you looked for it on a 2wd quad, but for the most part, everything went smooth.

There were ALOT of guys riding the frozen lakes too.

Ecorman and I are planning on riding there Sunday the 18th of this month.ANYBODY?
Bill

Fine, as long as Daytona Five Hundred isn't running. What about you others, Twinshot and Jeff? Do you think your group would be interested?
Bill, I told the other guys about going, from this area. Just have to wait and see who comes. Better bring some more hotdogs and buns...
We'll bring the grill and lighter fluid with beverage.

Well guys the Daytona 500 is the 18th. So I'm not in. I'm a good friend of twinshot we ride all the time and it sounds great to get a group together but NASCAR is my life and that race is once a year.
