I can never figure the WDNR website out and I would like to go riding near my Dad's house in Hudson. Anyone know any trails around that area, WDNR created or not?

Darn, that's not exactly that close. And my quad isn't quite fast enough to make old rail beds fun either, haha.</end quote></div>

well - there you are limited to the state parks. No - there is the SandBox arena...not far from Hudson.... http://www.sandboxarena.com/index.aspx
they did have things open for quads...you'd have to check into it....I cant say much for the MN side except there is the state parks. anyone else know about trails???

Closest of anything worth riding is up around Danbury. There is a small place down by Faribault (south of the cities a little), I was there early last winter and had a little fun in the snow but bored pretty quick. I haven't tried the trails over by Amery but that would be pretty close, I meant to check them out but really haven't had the chance to.
Other option about same distance as Danbury is Black River Falls area. Straight shot down 94 from you.

Sandbox no longer allows quads to practice, except on select nights after races for 4 hours, for $30...
Tri-County ATV Park is the place near Faribault ... some stuff has been added there as of recently and makes it more suited towards sport riders.

Replying to my own post here ... Sandbox JUST (and I mean, literally, JUST) reopened the indoor track so that quads can do organized practice Sundays from 2pm to 8pm. I plan to be there a lot this winter!
