Need a place to ride in Southeast PA, Philly Berks or Lancaster County areas. Tired of hauling to the Poconos and need a place or two for day trips.

Ever go to Anthracite ready coal company properties? They are not as far north from you like Poconos, they are in shulykill county. They are up RT 61 20 miles north of RT 78.

There is a state forest with good riding between Shippensburg and Gettysburg. You will have to have your quad registered with DCNR and insurance on it because they will check you if you ride there. Go to DCNR's website and do a search for places to ride.

Take a look at this site. These are the state trails. There are other pay parks. I am interested to check out the one between Adams and Cumberland counties

Nice spot in Lancaster County... Search for Money Rock Park. You can't ride at the Money Rock Park but google earth the surrounding area and there are great places to ride up there. Nice places to park on Gault Rd.

$100 a year for the permit, must bring license, reg, and insurance with you to pottsville office m-f 8am-4pm to get the permit. You ride 4 miles north of office, or at trevorton which is 40 miles north west. You can ride from sun up to sun down, and rules are, there really aren't any except do not ride in active quarrys where the guys are working. There are endless trials and you can ride where ever you want, even make new trails if you want. There is a group going riding this Weds if you are interested. We meet up in st clair off Burma road. I haven't gone there for a few months now and been wanting to go riding. Don't know if I am going yet this weds yet.

Hey X,

What kind of riding is here? Do the authorities chase you out at all? Any bad experiences with Trucks/Trailers getting towed? Thanks for any info you can provide.
