Which part of Ontario? I'm up here in Northwestern Ontario, in South Gillies (just South West of Thunder Bay) and have lots of trail riding in my own backyard as well as thousands of acres of crown land. Mountain climbing, lots of mud holes, timber cutting roads, bush trails of all sorts.

I am from Buffalo and was wondering how long of a ride is it to South Gillies for some riding.

I am always looking for new places to ride and have thought of going to Canada to ride but, I donlt know of any places.

Any help would be greatly appricated.

Thanks

I'm from Thunder Bay, and we have so many riding areas that it gets really hard to choose where you want to go.

Have you had a chance to ride up to Falling Snow Lake or Pine Lake yet? Some beautiful country up there.

These Lakes are just south of South Gillies (Sideroad I ) off Hwy 595. There is all kinds of riding up here, gravel pits, mud, cut roads, even rock climbing areas.

I live in Terrace Bay ON which is just 2 hours east of Thunder Bay, We have wicked riding areas that are all legal to ride on. The area offers plenty of camping, fishing, (I'm talking about the camping where you load up the bike an leave the truck at home) and camping for people who dont like to rough it.
