Are there any good trails in southern Maine area? Most seem to be central to northern.

I've heard of trails in Waterboro the website for the club is: Ossipee Mountain ATV'ers ATV Club
Never personally ridden them, but I believe you can find more miles of trails in central/northern Maine. Also, check out ATV Maine - Clubs for a list of clubs in different regions of Maine.

 

I just took a ride on the Ossippee Mountain ATV'ers trails with a buddy of mine who is a member. It was a nice mix of powerline trails, road-like trails, two tracks, rocky trails, and a little mud pit here and there. There were trails that led to food and gas also. We ended up going up almost all the way to Limington. Very dusty though. We did about 60 miles or so.
