I don't know if I would like to ride in a "grave pit". I could probably make it over the dead bodies, but jumping over the caskets and tombstones would get tiresome after a while. What about when they are holding funerals and burial services? Is riding cancelled then? Do you have to wear a black suit when riding?

Hey Mikesch, I don't know of any open pits in Roch. But there is one in Faribault that the Tri county atv club put together. It's a real nice place to ride, plenty of hillclimbs and jumps. Do you live near Roch? I live in Byron ride a atc 250r. We go to Wabasha alot to ride the sand pit.Have you ever rode snakecreek or troutvalley, they are some local state trails. If your close maby we could get together and tear it up sometime. Later TA

I am from Rochester, and here are all of the places that I know of.
Fairbolt has a gravel pit.(it's good for an afternoon of riding)
Snake Creek and Trout valley which are both by Wabasha.(small trails, about 10 miles long each, good riding though)
Leweston has a trail that connects to Altura.(the trail is about 15 miles long, but it's not a loop, so you ride out and then back for about 30 miles round trip. My favorite of the bunch)
And White Water State park has some trails that are open to the public.(this trail crosses the river about 20 times and is very muddy)
We are also building a track on my friends farm just south of Rochester.
Spring Creek motocross park is going to host 2 Hare Scrambles this year, if your into racing.
If you have any questions, want directions, or want to hook up to go riding. Post your e-mail address and I'll get back to ya.
